| SPECIAL EMAIL FROM
SISTERS
OF THE RIVER
The West Virginia Department of Highways wrote a letter to a
concerned citizen stating the proposed New River Parkway would have
"no significant impact" to the aquatic life in the New River.
In that same letter , the WVDOH went so far as to give the names of 2
professionals who had (supposedly) done the study!
ONE OF THE PROFESSIONALS DENIES DOING SUCH A STUDY AND STATED HE NOT
ONLY DIDN'T STUDY THE EFFECT SUCH A PARKWAY WOULD HAVE ON THE AQUATIC
LIFE OF THE NEW RIVER BUT SAID HE HAD EMPHASIZED TO THE WVDOH THAT
HIS STUDY "WAS NOT RELATIVE TO THAT ROAD CONSTRUCTION"!!
HE WAS ADAMANT WHEN HE LEARNED THE WEST VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS
AND THE VPI CONSULTANTS HAD MADE SUCH CLAIMS!!!
The New River Parkway Authority is now calling this "just a
mistake"!! I'm forced to agree .......misrepresentation
(lies!), fraud, collusion (?) falsification of an environmental impact
study is certainly a "mistake"!!!
The professional stated that the construction of a road so adjacent to
the New River and the effect that construction would be to the aquatic
life in the New River would have to be done in two 5 year
"trends" AND HE HAS NEVER DONE ANY STUDIES ON THIS ROAD
CONSTRUCTION'S EFFECT TO THE RIVER!!!!!!!!! YET, OUR DEAR AGENCIES
"QUOTE" THAT PROFESSIONAL AS SAYING THERE WOULD BE NO
SIGNIFICANT IMPACT TO THE NEW RIVER BY THIS CONSTRUCTION "BASED ON
THIS MAN'S FINDINGS"!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE, ADVISE!!!! IF THOSE AGENCIES GET BY WITH THIS FALLACY, WE
ARE DOOMED TO LOSE OUR LAND IN THIS ON GOING LAND GRAB SCHEME!!!!!

SECOND EMAIL:
One WV citizen is MOST CONCERNED with the effect the construction
of a road so adjacent to the New River would have on the fish food chain
cycle. Over a year ago the citizen demanded that the resource agencies
answer 30 questions relative to that destruction in this project.
After MUCH INSISTENCE, the Federal Highway Administrator assured the
resident he would get his answers. The letter came from the West
Virginia Department of Highways, quoting the Virginia Polytechnic
Institution (VPI) consultants as saying 2 men had done the study and
found there would be no significant impact by the construction of a road
along the New River.
ONE OF THOSE CONSULTANTS (A professional from the Department of
Conservation in Missouri) denies his study they cited to the citizen was NOT about
that project and even went so far as to tell the citizen on the phone
that he EMPHATICALLY told WVDOH and VPI his studies were not applicable
TO THE PARKWAY CONSTRUCTION!
The New River Parkway Authority is calling this a
"mistake"......... Bombing Hanoi was a "mistake"
also, wasn't it? |
